The previous post does not really answer the question posed in it.

Are the relative strengths of mind and heart sufficient to define spiritual sexual identity unambiguously?

Surely, male and female angels are different by something more fundamental than these?

At this point I don’t know.

What’s the difference between male and female angels?

Angels are disembodied spirits who are composed of intellect and will, so they are pure contemplators. In the state of nature, an angel does not love anyone other than himself. So the angelic will does not matter for dignity, only the intellect does, and the male angels are smarter than the female angels. Their minds are more powerful. Hence the guys are naturally superior.

But the good angels have been uplifted into grace and, immediately following their acceptance of this grace, into glory. So the angels now have charity toward each other and toward humans. (The demons rejected the grace and have become our enemies.)

But the female angels who are more emotional love stronger than the male angels. They burn with greater love. But charity is more important than reason. Hence in the order of glory female angels are superior.

In the traditional hierarchy, the Seraphim are the top order of angels and the Cherubim are the second highest. St. Thomas interprets it as that the Seraphim are greatest in love and the Cherubim are greatest in intellect.

Just as Mary was elevated to be queen of heaven, so perhaps the Seraphs are girls, and the Cherubs are boys.

Apparently, heaven is a kind of matriarchy.

Some people argue that the recent disasters are motivated by “money and power.”

Unfortunately, this is a pseudo-explanation because pretty much everything in life is about money and power.

Human pursuit of happiness is inevitably bound up with prosperity and influence. When you get up in the morning to go to work, you’re after money. When you exercise, you increase your power.

It is possible to pursue these things lawfully, and it is possible to pursue them viciously.

Jesus does offer a unique advice here: “All these things the pagans seek. Your heavenly Father knows that you need them all. But seek first the kingdom [of God] and his righteousness, and all these things will be given you besides.” (Mt 6:32-33)

I don’t agree. Each human being is a bigger cosmos than the entire physical universe.

As a result, human doings are of crucial “significance.”

Crime in America is a black problem.

White people need guns to defend themselves against peaceful protestors.

And also against government. The only thing that stopped Biden from unleashing the cops on the people, to break down their doors, hold them down, and inject them with the poison death shot, is his realization that the people are armed and would resist.

Power flows from the barrel of a gun. Why would you want the state and the criminals (but I repeat myself) to have all the power, and the citizens to have none?

This is a free country, still to some extent.

People can use this freedom for both good and evil.

Hence anyone can grab a gun and start shooting people. (At the same time anyone can also grab a gun and defend himself.)

There is nothing that anyone can do about it. Certainly gun control, which is tyrannical and unjust, will make the crime problem worse.

To the “transgender” people, I say, “I know your works; I know that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either cold or hot. So, because you are lukewarm, neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth.” (Rev 3:15-16)

Thus, you are neither male nor female, neither fish nor fowl (fruits, maybe?). “Transgender” is not an identity but lack thereof.

Each colored line in the pride flag represents a different spiritual disease.

Is there a doctor in the house?

Angels of the Lord be all like, “You want us to address you by your preferred pronouns? How about we let the devils tear you apart instead?”

At the center of our galaxy is a black hole, physicists tells us. Now a black hole is the physical equivalent of hell, ruled presumably by the physical equivalent of the devil. In the medieval cosmology, hell was placed at the center of the earth. Clearly, a central location, signifying importance, need not be pleasant.

What’s at the center of our human world? Perhaps it’s Washington DC, the imperial capital of the world, the great whore, the pinnacle of power. And Joe Biden is the current prince of darkness.

Note that the center of the world in Jesus’ times was Rome. But Jesus did not come to Rome. He came to its provincial backwater. He slighted hell. We should too.
