Gordon evaluates an argument for whether a libertarian can work at a public university.

I like his point: there is nothing particularly just about the market price, nor anything unjust about deviating from that price including by working for an employer who takes taxpayer money.

Unless perhaps the market price is somehow “efficient,” and one is a utilitarian who claims that it’s one’s moral duty to maximize efficiency.
